| After waiting for a long time on line we finally got to the head of the line, or what we thought was the head of the line. It seems there is another line for groups of girls that don't have to wait on line to gain entrance. At least we met this group from Germany on line, but too bad both our German speaking lads, Pete and Dirk, were long gone by this time. Frank's "hello", "goodbye", and "right around the corner" conversational German that he remembered from German class did not help much. At this point Jerry realized the situation and took over with his sales/negotiation skills. He bluntly went up to the bouncer and asked him if $20 would get us into the bar. Although, there is no cover charge at the bar, we now know a valuable lesson... there is always a cover charge. The bouncer agreed and in we went! | |
